Private Pet Cremation

Private Pet Cremation

A private cremation means your pet is placed in the cremation chamber alone. Upon completion of the cremation, your pet's cremated remains are removed from the chamber, and returned to you, in an urn of your choice. Private cremation is typically a bit more expensive.

Grieving the loss of a pet is a natural process that is experienced by everyone, and almost everyone handles their grief in a different way. Working through your feelings with a friend, family member or one of our care professionals is one of the best ways to put them in perspective. Many families wish to say a prayer, have a service or just share memories with each other in a comfortable setting. Please don’t hesitate to ask us for advice, guidance in your journey or any other questions you may have. We are here to help you. Feel free to call us at (304) 736-8986.

Individual Pet Cremation

Individual Pet Cremation

Here, your pet shares space in the cremation chamber with other pets, but as each pet carries a unique identification tag into the chamber, you’re ensured of receiving only your pet’s cremated remains, in the urn of your choice. This seems to be the most cost effective and frequently chosen choice.

Communal Pet Cremation

Communal Pet Cremation

In a communal cremation, your pet is cremated along with a number of other pets, and the cremated remains are not separated. No cremated remains are returned to you. It is common practice for these cremated remains to be scattered on private land by some families.
