Mertie Francis Pinkerman Holley McCallister, 92 years old of Lesage, WV, passed away, Thursday, February 6, 2020 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. She was born August 27, 1927 in Ironton, OH, the daughter of the late Orville Pinkerman and Laura (Runyon) Pinkerman Knight. In addition to her parents, she was also proceeded in death by her husband, Elza Eugene Holley; a daughter, Rebecca A. Holley Estep; one sister, Garnet Perry; two brothers, Virgil Pinkerman and Dillard C. Pinkerman (Bill) and one grandson, Trent Holley. She was a homemaker and retired from the Perry Norvel Shoe Factory in Huntington, WV. She is survived by one daughter, Nancy L. Holley Sevy of Lesage, WV; four sons, Roger E. Holley of Lesage, WV, Anthony W. Holley of Radcliff, KY, James E. Holley of Huntington, WV, and David M. Holley of Lesage, WV; fourteen grandchildren, thirty-nine great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family, friends, and neighbors. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2020, at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary 6357 East Pea Ridge Road, Huntington, WV with Rev. Doug Spurlock officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton, WV. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. service time.
