Mary Bowman Telfer

Mary Bowman Telfer, 73 of Huntington, W.Va. passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 31, 2015. She was born April 30, 1942 in Little Rock, Arkansas the daughter of the late Woodrow and Metti Starkey. She was retired a Vice-President and Senior Partner of Wells Fargo, an Insurance Broker, Hospice of Huntington Volunteer and a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Huntington, W.Va. where she served as a Vestry Member. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by sister, Cathy Kardatzke. She is survived by her daughter Sara Allman (Jamie) of Huntington, W.Va. and her son, Chris Bowman (Stephanie) of Scott Depot, W.Va; two sisters, her identical twin sister, Marty Reinhardt and Barbara Starkey both of Washington State; four grandchildren, Sam and Jack Bowman and Elizabeth and Kate Allman and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and fiends. A Memorial Services honoring Mary's life be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Huntington, W.Va. The family requests memorial donations to be made in Mary’s honor to the CRIDLIN FOOD PANTRY 520 11th Street, Huntington, W.Va. 25701. Arrangements are in the care of Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Huntington, W.Va. near Barboursville.
