Benjamin Meredith Adkins, 75 of Barboursville, WV passed away, Tuesday, September 21, 2021. He was born October 23, 1945 in Huntington, WV the son of the late Ernest and Ernestine Miller Adkins. He was a graduate of the West Virginia State Police Academy, a graduate of the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA and was a U.S. Airforce Veteran. He was preceded in death two sisters, Lahoma Goodpaster and Peggy Smith. He is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Drema Porter Adkins of Barboursville, WV; two daughters, Summer Levetro of Huntington, WV and Holly Shivel of Barboursville, WV; one sister, Judy Lynch of Pittsburgh, PA. and one brother, Mike Adkins of Huntington, WV; one granddaughter, Gillian Levetro and one grandson, Harry Shivel IV.
