Arnet Eugene "Arnie" Poff

Arnet Eugene Poff, 76, of Huntington, WV, passed away March 2, 2022, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral service will be conducted on Monday, March 7th, at 2 p.m. at the New Beginning Apostolic Church, 1002 25th St, Huntington, WV. Pastor Todd Mills will be officiating. Burial will follow in Dock’s Creek / Maple Hill Cemetery, Huntington, WV. A son of the late Charles and Goldie Poff, he was a trained welder, enjoyed bluegrass and gospel music and was also a member of the Whirlaways Square Dance Club. He was an avid movie fan and enjoyed old Westerns. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Anna (Marie) Parsley, Betty Cummings, Wanda Mulligan and brothers Charles Poff, Billy Joe Poff, Donald Poff, and Ervin Poff. He is survived by his brother Arthur Poff of Summersville, WV, and his sister Patty Tackett of South Point, OH. He is also survived by his sons Jason Poff of Lexington, KY and Anthony Poff of Silver Spring, MD, along with four grandchildren: Sydnei Poff, Cameron Poff, Anna Poff and Jason L. Poff.
