In Loving Memory of Autumn Marie Bledsoe March 7, 1957 – May 31, 2025 Age 68 • Huntington, West Virginia Autumn Marie Bledsoe, 68, of Huntington, WV, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on May 31, 2025. Born on March 7, 1957, she was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Lyle Vincent Bledsoe and Lois Beatrice (Burks) Bledsoe, her only child, Misti Marie (Stratton) Byrom, her sister, Lila Ruth “Peggy” Cyrus (Bill), cousin Dianne Bird (Gary), and dear friend Louanne Nistendirk Stollings (Tessa, Derek). Autumn is survived by her grandson, Zander Byrom (Shannon), great-grandson, Zaiden Byrom, and long-time companion, Denver Daily (Jamie and Jerry). She also leaves behind her devoted cousins, Vicki Clay Sizemore (Tim), Marsha Burks Owens (Steve), Charlene Mason Clay (Dan), Bruce Clay (Maureen), Rita “Squeaky” Wentz Harlow, and Shelley Arcusa (Paul), as well as her dear friend and sister, Anita Garrett-Richards (Karl, Jenna, Elizabeth and Parker, Lela, Andrew, Atina, Kole, and Chuckiebear) and Jo Ann Ross all of whom held a special place in her heart. Each of these people loved Autumn unconditionally. Autumn dedicated many years of her life to working at Sears, where her work ethic and warmth left a lasting impression. In retirement, she found community, work and purpose at the American Legion, RT Champs, Home Health Care, and later as a homemaker. A devout Christian, Autumn’s faith was the cornerstone of her life. She has now seen the face of Jesus, is free of pain, full of joy, and reunited with her beloved Misti and all those who passed before her. Autumn was fiercely devoted to her family. Zaiden was a precious gift to her, and she was so proud to be his great-grandmother. He was the light of her life. She poured her heart into every moment spent with them. She also loved watching sports, going out to dinner and the movies, relaxing at the beach, and spending time with her precious Pekingese dogs, Abbie, who recently passed, and her new puppy, Timmy. She was a proud member of the charitable fraternity Order of Eastern Star in Barboursville, WV. Kind, loyal, fun-loving, and endlessly generous, Autumn touched the lives of many with her joyous spirit, sweet smile, and gracious soul. She truly loved life and lived each day to its fullest. Her door was always open to anyone in need. A Celebration of Autumn’s life will be held this Saturday at 1:00 PM at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary and Cremation Services, located at 1592 East Pea Ridge Road, Huntington, WV 25705. Autumn’s final wish was to be cremated. Her ashes will be spread on her mother’s grave at a later date to be determined. “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” — Revelation 21:4 Autumn will be deeply missed by all of those who loved and cherished her.
